Boom Welding Machine

Boom welding machine is a widely used and highly automated welding auxiliary equipment. It meets the welding needs of various welding methods for different workpieces through the lifting and retracting of the cross arm. Boom welding machine can be used in conjunction with roller racks and positioners, and can also be used with some other welding auxiliary equipment to form a pipe welding production line to complete the welding needs of the same type of workpiece rings and longitudinal seams. It realizes the automated welding of cylindrical metal structural rings and longitudinal seams.

Features of Boom welding machine:

1. Both the column and the beam adopt an integral box-shaped structure with high mechanical strength, good stability and compact structure.

2. The strength and appearance of the entire column, while reducing the welding heat affected zone, reducing the damage to the excellent properties of steel, and using stress relief treatment after welding to ensure the mechanical properties of the column.

3. After welding, a large gantry planer is used to process the guide rail to ensure the accuracy of the bracket walking.
4. The lifting of the bracket seat and the cross arm is completed by the sprocket driven by the worm gear reducer motor on the top to drive the double-row chain. In order to reduce the driving torque of the worm gear reducer, a counterweight block for balance is installed in the column. In order to improve the stability and safety of the cross arm lifting, the lifting worm gear reducer adopts a self-locking worm gear reducer.
5. The cross arm can rotate ±180° and is installed on the slewing support at the lower end of the column to complete this task. The column is automatically locked.
6. The cross arm telescopic adopts AC motor variable frequency stepless speed regulation, with large starting torque, stable speed, strong reliability, and gear rack meshing transmission, high transmission accuracy, no creeping, and no shaking.
7. After the guide rail is welded, it is vibrated to eliminate stress, and it is planed and milled to form a long service life and good stability.
